Vía Romana do Camiño Mencía Barrica is a very special red wine. It is made from the first must of the crushed grapes, coming from the best Mencía plots. It ferments in tanks for 12 days with temperature control. Then it ages in French oak barrels of 500 and 225 liters for approximately 6 months. Before going to market, it rests in bottle for 7 months.
Tasting notes
Sight
Visually, it presents an elegant cherry red, with a medium-high layer.
Nose
Intense. With aromas of red fruit (raspberry and cherry) and black fruit (blackberry and plum), mineral and roasted notes.
