Made with hand-harvested Garnacha grapes picked on October 2, 2019, from old vine plots with an average age of 64 years, located in Petín, A Rúa, and Vilamartín de Valdeorras, with a maximum slope of 19%, altitude up to 405m, and slate and clay-iron soils. This combination of characteristics results in a wine with structure, complexity, and great elegance. Pre-fermentation maceration and alcoholic fermentation were carried out in stainless steel tanks. The flower wine was racked into 225L barrels of 4-year-old American oak, where it remained for 105 days, and after a light fining in tank, it was bottled in August 2019.

Tasting notes

Sight

Visually, it presents an elegant cherry red, with a medium-high layer.

Nose

On the nose it is very varietal, with aromas of ripe forest fruits, hints of blue flowers and balsamic notes, complexed with light nuances of vanilla and spices from the barrel and bottle aging.

Palate

On the palate it is structured and balanced, fresh, tasty and fleshy. It has a very long and persistent finish, allowing you to enjoy again the notes from the variety, the terroir and the aging.
